Who are we looking for?
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Certificate III Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)

- Develop performance-based reports to support catering contracts and BUs, and manage the communication of these reports

Role Details:
Reporting to the onsite Head Chef and Catering leadership team on site these roles are not cooking in the same old kitchens. We have an opportunity for the right candidates to do it differently. To deliver innovative, on trend food to hundreds of residents in our remote villages.
You will still be required to deliver food safely as food safety is non-negotiable and you must have a commitment to meeting all food safety obligations. In addition, you must have a commitment to the workplace being safe and ensure you with your team are working safely at all times.
As a Chef in our ISS catering team, you will assist in all food operations within the Village including breakfast, take away lunches and Dinner service. The goal is to exceed customer expectations delivering to a healthy, delicious and innovative food offering, whilst being in line with contractual requirements.

About the job
You will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations, as well as supporting the maintenance and operation of filtering and chemical treatment processes. You will be required to inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps, boilers, heat exchanges and valves. Ensure that servicing and major repairs are arranged in a timely manner. You will need to keep a daily log, and prepare activities and reports to ensure records are well maintained, and any other duties as requested
About you
You will be a trade qualified Plumber with a WA Plumbers Licence.
You will hold a Certificate III of Water and Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator Program and a minimum of 2 years experience in operating a plant; experience in water sampling and testing techniques, inspection procedures, water and sanitation systems management.
You will need to hold an Open C class driving license (Manual) in addition to experience in a broad range of skills and general maintenance. Previous experience on working on remote sites, Work Safely at Heights / Enter and Work in Confined Spaces would be advantageous for this role

It will be important to note down that positions are available for applicants holding a Plumbing Contractor license as well as positions available for applicants holding a Plumbing Tradesperson license.
Minimum Criteria:
- Advanced Plumber – Workers Registration - CBS
- Gas Fitting – Workers Registration – CBS
- Backflow & TMV endorsed / licensed
- Restricted Electrical workers Registration desirable but not required
- Minimum 3 years experience in Plumbing & Gas Fitting industry
- Sound knowledge & Awareness to AS3500 & local regulations
- Experience in Facilities Management settings desirable.
- Strong sense of team and passion to develop others as well as self.
- Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome for all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative and commitment, with the capacity to deal with multiple priorities.
- An ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, subcontractors, senior management and Client representatives.
- Ability to work unsupervised to a schedule
