About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for qualified Boilermakers who have extensive experience with maintaining heavy mobile equipment specifically with diggers and drills reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
These roles will be based at our Western Australia Iron Ore sites in the Pilbara, on an 8/6 7/7 rotating days and night shift, fly in-fly out roster from Perth. These sites include South Flank, Yandi, Jimblebar and Newman.
Team members are expected to demonstrate focus on safety, achievement and team engagement in all aspects of their work, ensuring adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process.
About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Australian recognised Boilermaker / Fabrication trade qualification - essential
- Experience in Mobile Equipment Maintenance, Working in a field service role or mine site experience
- Proven experience working with diggers and Epiroc drills - highly desirable
- Experience working on large mining machinery
- Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, be self-motivated and show passion toward the equipment within the department.
- Capability in 1SAP or similar maintenance management systems (desirable)
- Must have a valid drivers licence (HR essential)
- High Risk licence Essential – Forklift essential and EWP, WAH – desirable
- Crane (CN), Dogging (DG) and Rigging (RG) High Risk Work Licences
- Proficiency in MIG and Arc welding techniques, (TIG desirable bit not essential)

About the role
With exciting growth happening across our operations, we are now recruiting for a Fixed Plant Boilermaker.
Reporting directly to the Mechanical Supervisor you will manage the day-to-day mechanical maintenance of the processing plant carrying out the below tasks;
- Daily / weekly scheduled maintenance of equipment in accordance with current procedures
- Work with a multi-disciplined team to maintain the fixed plant & ancillary equipment including jaw & cone crushers, conveyors, chutes, Ball mills, pumps, cyclones, compressors, gearboxes, gold room equipment, agitators, tanks, & tailings.
- Ensure safe and efficient maintenance and repairs of the fixed plant and ancillary equipment
- Source technical information from the available reference manuals, technical bulletins and service documentation
- Maintain legible, coherent and accurate records and documentation as required by Australian standards
- Remain flexible and prompt when attending to new work requests
- Support periodic plant shutdowns as determined by the maintenance program.
- Participate in the afterhours call out roster
This permanent position will be offered on 8:6 (10-hour day) roster, open only to those based residentially or willing to relocate to the Kalgoorlie/Boulder region.
